"A marvelous story"
A romantic suspense full of twists and turns . . . When a steamy incident in the back seat of a borrowed car plunges sixteen-year-old Beatrice Malcolm smack in the middle of a global manhunt, she discovers that the search for her fugitive father has more to do with her than she could ever imagine.
With her mother gone, Bea's life is unraveling in the worst possible way as she's thrust into a world of government conspiracy, insanity, and mind-altering experimentation that forces her to make a life or death decision on who to believe—the FBI or her father.
In Twist, Roni Teson has crafted a suspenseful tale of love, betrayal and intrigue with a cast of characters who will leap off the pages and stay in your heart long after the last page has been turned.

"What seems like a young adult love story at first, gets more complex with every chapter. It's really amazing what one would do for the people you love, as shown in the book."

"A gripping read—the kind of story that keeps you on the edge of your seat; the love story is sweet, sentimental and thoroughly universal. A must read!"
—Karen Coccioli, author of The Yellow Braid
"What starts out as a 'love at first sight' story, becomes so much more than that . . . A marvelous story that is highly recommended."
—Jack Magnus, Readers' Favorite
"A fast paced story that I couldn't wait to get through then missed after I finished. I loved it!"
—Carolee Lavarini, illustrator and author of There is a Place
"We are not sure if what we read is true, a secret or a lie and the only way to separate that is to keep reading and believe me you will not want to put this book down."
—Shelly Itkin, Vine Voice
"Roni Teson weaves the mystery and the romance in a very compelling way that makes this a must read."
—Clark, Palmetto Review
"Twist has both an original premise and, aptly, many dizzying plot twists. I highly recommend this book."

"Twist is for every reader out there—boy, girl, and adults (I loved it and I won't tell you how old I am)."
—G. Miki Hayden, author of The Heroin's Journey
"The way this story of Bea Malcolm starts off had me thinking I pretty much knew where it was going (romance!), and then—ha ha, just as the title promises: it takes a completely unexpected twist, and keeps doing so. I was not expecting any of what transpires, and couldn't put the book down until I finished it in a bleary-eyed marathon. And then I made that *mind is blown* sound to myself. It's like nothing I've ever read before, and I'm pushing it on my friends because I need to discuss everything with someone, it's so wild. I hope it gets made into a movie!" 5 Stars

"Twist is a great read that had me hooked from the beginning and then completely, full-on in by Chapter 5. I loved it, and hope the author is writing a sequel RIGHT NOW! I don't know if I would exactly classify this as Young Adult, because it's really more than that, with suspense, intrigue, and some intense concepts, but that's part of what I liked about it—it's nothing like anything I've ever read before. The main characters are so likeable and cool, and parts of the story are really funny despite the serious situations." 5 Stars

"I really liked this book and can't stop thinking about it, it's so unique. It's one of those books that had me on the edge of my seat, and the surprises are fantastic (no spoilers!). Just when you think you know what is basically going on between the new girl from Seattle and the California surfer guy (sound kind of familiar? It's better.), it gets increasingly tense and interesting. I have to say that I laughed out loud during some parts, but then also welled up during others—and then got a bit creeped out at the end. I don't think it falls neatly into any one category, what with the mystery, romance, sex & drugs, and psychological components, but everything's very well-written and so it works as it's own unique, original story." 5 Stars

"While it appears to be a romance (and it is), there's much more here than meets the eye. Twist is as much a psychological thriller, and quite thought-provoking. Nothing is quite what it seems—the surface story is good, and then, by Part 2, we see that the waters are running deeper than they first appear to be. This is more than a teen tale. By the end, I was thinking that this novel could become a cult classic, and would make a cool film. Well done." 5 Stars

"This is a very well-written novel that, upon starting, seems like a good version of a young romance. Then come the twists. It's much more than a love story between the endearing Bea Malcolm and Luke Drake. At times poignant, a little creepy, and funny, the plot is layered and riveting. Refreshingly surprising story that is fast-paced and intelligent. An enjoyable read with many unique qualities." 5 Stars
